I was recently inspired to purchase some things from Amazon to style up my summer.

As a not-so-small woman, I find myself drawn to things that accentuate my waist since it's the smallest part of me. But I also love showing off my cleavage. It's a pretty nice cleavage to show off, but it also makes me look top-heavy in certain items.

I'm not one of those bloggers who enjoys stringing you along so here is a list of what I purchased, with photos, and my notes on how it all fits me. I'm also not one of those women who takes time to do her hair and makeup every day, so WYSIWYG.

For reference: Size 8-10 jeans typically, 32H bra, medium/large tops, dresses are a 12. I'm 5'6"/165 pounds.

For working out/lounging.

I really like this gray yoga fleece twist front hoodie. It is so soft and has just the right amount of stretch to it. It does show a little bit of tummy, so if you're not comfortable with that, maybe size up. I got a size Large and it's perfect for me.

I paired it with these super cute and comfy Core 10 Yoga High Waist leggings. Size Medium. My daughter tells me I wear too much animal print (leopard mostly) and I tell her there is no such thing, darling!

I also paired it with the Amazon Essentials French Terry Fleece Jogger Sweatpant. I really like the fit at the waist and the length. Sometimes it's hard to find sweatpants with the right length for me as my legs are long and my waist is short. These are perfect! I love the soft pink color, though it's brighter than what's on the website. I purchased these in a medium and the fit is as expected.

Casual Wear

The next thing I tried on was The Drop Theresa Short puff-sleeve sweetheart neck top. It is so cute! But thin. I will wear a tank under it next time. I got a size large and I may send it back to size up. It's a little too fitted for my taste. If you like a more fitted top, get your normal size.

I paired it with these Goodthreads Stretch Chino Wide-leg Crop Pants. I'm not a fan of where they hit my leg so I'm sending these back. Perhaps if I were a better seamstress I would keep them and hem. But I love the fit at the waist, the butt, and the overall stretch is very nice. Size up one size! I bought one size up from what I would normally purchase and they fit well.

I LOVE this 28 Palms Large Brim Packable Beach Hat and it is going into the rotation. This one is a nice gray color, but there are two other color options!

Gimme All the Dresses!

I am always on the lookout for a dress that I can throw in a suitcase and dress up or down. These next two dresses are exactly that! If you need a dress that is cute with sandals or heels, GO BUY THIS DRESS RIGHT NOW. Perfect as a beach cover-up, going out for dinner or drinks, or running errands.

Here are two animal print dresses that are perfect for those of us blessed with a fuller bust and a tummy to match. No pockets, but I can overlook that for the fit and feel of this green dress. There are several color options on the website to choose from.

Essentials

And finally, a couple little things that you might need.

This bucket hat is so fun! So many amazing colors available, but I liked the black one. I ordered a small/medium.

ELESOL Chiffon Beach Kimono/Cover-up. I got the yellow, but there are several options to choose from.

This white ribbed tee from Target.  I love this tee so much I bought it in ALL THE COLORS. If you want a more relaxed fit, size up one size. I bought an XL.

These so soft orange lounge shorts. A few other colors are available. Size Medium. This is not an affiliate link.

These panties are AMAZING! So soft, and no panty line (even if the kids are trying to make that come back). The lace detail is perfectly feminine and not scratchy at all.

Well, now I have to go package up the things I'm sending back. Thank GOODNESS Amazon makes returns so darn easy!

I'm still waiting on the swimsuit from Bravissimo to arrive. I had to send them an email asking where my package was and customer service was super responsive. They shipped me another package and it should be here this week. If both suits show up, I'll send one back, but at this point, it's been in post almost a month. Not likely that I'll see the first suit.
